Health insurance covers expenses for medical care in doctor consultations or hospitalization in case of illness or accident, including convalescence, medical recovery, and follow-up during pregnancy and childbirth or rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Preventive check-ups and diagnostic tests are also included. Services are provided by private clinics and hospitals.
Private health insurance offers superior access to medical services compared to the public system. It is offered in three modalities:
· reimbursement · the insurer’s medical network · co-payment
The Reimbursement modality allows the insured to go to any medical center, specialist, or hospital, paying for the service provided. The insurer provides financial coverage by reimbursing the insured based on the paid invoices for medical, surgical, and hospital care resulting from any illness or injury.
The Medical Network modality allows the insured to visit all medical centers with which the insurer has collaboration agreements. The insured does not pay for the services provided. The insurer pays directly to the professionals or medical centers.
The Co-payment modality is when the insured pays a small amount for the medical service provided. The co-payment usually ranges between 3-10 euros. The insured pays a reduced insurance premium compared to the other modalities.
Our consultants identify the right insurance plan for you, adapting it to the budget offered by the insurers, thus giving you access to an extensive network of private clinics, hospitals, medical specialists, and advanced medical equipment.
